Laura Gfrerer
Biography
Laura Gfrerer was born on April 12, 1999 in Vienna.
At a young age, she discovered her love for the violin when she heard her neighbor playing. At six, her wish came true and she was able to take her first violin lesson.
For the first five years she got lessons from Mrs. Marianne Olsen at the Musikum Hallein. She then moved to Eberhard Staiger (Musikum Kuchl) for 18 months. In the period from March 2012 to June 2017, Laura was taught by Ms. Wonji Kim-Ozim (South Korea) at the University Mozarteum Salzburg. Since October 2017, Laura started her studies (Konzertfach Violine) with Lily Francis at the Mozarteum Salzburg.
Laura won solo prizes and numerous 1st prizes in the national competitions and also national competition Prima la Musica. Until 2014, Laura worked as a concert master and soloist with the Tennengauer Jugendsinfonietta (Conductor Wolfram Tröndle). In addition to the school orchestra of the Musisches Gymnasium, she was also a member of the Salzburger Landesjugendorchester (conducted by Norbert Brandauer) and the Salzburg Opera in the Berg Orchester.
In 2013 and 2014, Laura was able to play a violin recital under the organ conduction of Ms. Geraldinde Groenendijk in the Schlosskirche Bad Homburg as part of the Laternfest. In the spring of 2017 she was able to play as a soloist under the orchestral accompaniment of the Musisches Gymnasium Salzburg in the Odeon.
Laura has attended many masterclasses with Prof. Igor Ozim in Ossiach.
In her career, she has played many times with numerous orchestras. Making her Concert master of the ''Tennengauer Jugendsinfonietta'', Musisiches Gymnasium orchestra, Salzburger Landejugendsorchester and the Oper in Berg Festival orchestra.
Tom De Beuckelaer
Biography
Tom De Beuckelaer was born on January 8, 1999 in Schiedam.
Tom started playing
piano when he was 4 years old. After first two years supervised by
his mother, he followed piano lessons with Mr. Jean-Paul Vanden
Driessche (Academy of Music in Mortsel, Belgium). Since 2012 he started his
studies with Mrs. Heidi Hendrickx at the Academy of Music, Drama
and Dance (MAGO) in Antwerp. Since 2015 he studied with Prof.
Levete Kente and Prof. Nikolaas Kente (the Royal Conservatory
Antwerp). In 2017 he entered the University Mozarteum Salzburg
studying Konzertfach piano with Prof. Pietro De Maria.
Tom won numerous 1st prizes at national & international piano competitions in; Belgium, China, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, The Netherlands, Czech Republic, Austria, Russia.
Tom has attended master classes with Prof. Maurizio Moretti in
Paris, Prof. Ronald McDonald in the United States, Prof. Arie Vardi in Germany, Prof. Wojciech Switala, Prof. Jerzy
Sterezynski , Prof. Katarzyna Popowa-Zydron, Prof.Ewa Poblocka and
Prof. Anna Malikova in Poland, Prof. Jaques Rouvier, Prof. Elisso
Virasladze, Prof. Peter Lang and Prof. Stephan Möller in Austria
Tom has given many concerts in Belgium and abroad, e.g. In the
Netherlands, Spain, Poland, France, Germany and Austria.
